At the height of its splendour at the heart of the classical century, Versailles was the symbol of absolute power. Yet something strange is afoot beyond the castle gardens: in the forests, valleys and villages, menacing creatures are rising up, reminding man of his fragility. The shadow of an animal revolt looms large, spreading fear even within the palace walls. To counter this threat, the king calls on the most mysterious of his protectors: the Fantastic Musketeers, an elite corps ready to defend the kingdom against the unexpected and the supernatural.
