D’Artagnan, journal d’un cadet tells the ‘true’ story of d’Artagnan, a young man who was indecisive, naive and a bit of a klutz, and whose relationships with his three companions were far from idyllic.

This imposing 272-page work explores virtually the entire history of Dumas’s novel, but adopts d’Artagnan’s point of view entirely, like a personal diary.
